[Webinar] FumeFX 4.0: large scale VFX simulation with deep compositing in Nuke.

[Webinar] FumeFX 4.0: large scale VFX simulation with deep compositing in Nuke.

Recently the company Sitni Sati pleased us another update FumeFX plugin. As with the third version, a lot of innovations, both small and fairly substantial. In the webinar, we consider not only the changes themselves, but also how to use them as an example. Nice sharpening of various channels and new shader make the simulations even more realistic.
In this webinar we have the example of a large, combined blast to show you not only the new settings, but also talk about the deep compositing in Nuke.

[Video Tutorial] Fire Storm Simulation

[Video Tutorial] Fire Storm Simulation

In this series of lessons we will learn the process of creating a scene with a fire tornado. We are not talk only about the process of simulation. But also about creating the environment for a scene using simple static images in Nuke. Will learn a lot of different techniques to create puddles, image correction, and the projection geometry. Much time we spent creating additional elements of the environment in 3Ds max like debris and dust. And create a scene from scratch to the final view.

[Video Tutorial] Pixels in 3ds max.

[Video Tutorial] Pixels in 3ds max.

This video tutorial is dedicated to сreating simple “pixel” effect like in movie “Pixels”. As example, we used the most universal object in the world – teapot, but the method is suitable for “pixelation” of any object.

pixels_v01_0100

In this video tutorial we used common software: 3ds max and Thinking Partisles. Rendering was done in Vray. Compositing – Nuke by the Foundry.

Part 1:  vfx simulation(3ds max, Thinking Particles).

Part 2:  compositing in Nuke.
